Terms of Service
Last updated October 12, 2026
- Time@ is a time tracking service for teams. You pay for the people who track time.
- Your data is yours. We use it only to run the service for you.
- You must tell your team that their work time is tracked, and use Time@ lawfully.
- Try it free for 14 days with no card. Cancel any time.
1. Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between you (the company or person who signs up) and Time@ ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Time@ you agree to them. If you sign up for a company, you confirm that you are allowed to agree on the company's behalf.
2. What Time@ is
Time@ is an online service and a desktop app that record work time, schedules and activity for a team, and show that information to the people you choose. We may improve, change or remove features over time. We will not make a change that removes your ability to get your data out.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and give us accurate information.
- The person who signs up becomes the first admin. Admins decide who else can sign in and what each person can see.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, including the people you add. Keep passwords safe and turn on two-step sign-in.
- Tell us right away at hello@timeat.io if you think someone got into your account without permission.
4. Telling your team
Time@ records clock times, the apps and websites in use while someone is clocked in, activity counts, and screenshots if you turn them on. You must tell every person whose time you track what is recorded, why, and who can see it, before they start. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you, including laws on employee monitoring, notice and consent. Do not use Time@ to track anyone secretly, or anyone who is not your employee or contractor and has not agreed.
5. Free trial, prices and payment
- Trial. 14 days, up to 10 people, no card needed.
- Month to month: $7 per person per month. Yearly: $72 per person, paid once a year ($6 per person per month).
- Who counts. You pay for each person who tracked time in that month. Someone who clocked in once counts once. People who did not track time that month are not charged.
- Paying. Payments are taken by card through our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Prices do not include taxes, which we add where required.
- If the trial ends or a payment fails. You get 7 more days to fix it. After that your account becomes read only: your team can look at their data, but nobody can clock in or change things. Nothing is deleted.
- Cancelling. You can cancel a month to month plan at any time and it ends at the end of the current month. Yearly payments are not refundable except where the law requires it.
- Price changes. If we raise prices, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies to you.
6. Your data
- You own the data you and your team put into Time@ (we call it your data). We do not claim any ownership of it.
- You give us permission to store, process and display your data only as needed to run the service for you, keep it secure, and meet legal duties.
- You can export your data through the app, and you can ask us for help with an export.
- If you close your account or ask us to, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we must keep something by law or in short term backups that expire on their own.
- How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
7. What you may not do
- Break the law, or use Time@ to harass, discriminate against or spy on people.
- Track people who have not been told, as described in section 4.
- Try to get into other companies' data, probe or attack the service, or overload it.
- Resell or share your access in a way that avoids paying for people who track time.
- Upload anything you do not have the right to use, or anything harmful such as malware.
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules or puts others at risk. When we can, we will tell you first.
8. Third party services
Time@ works with other services, such as Stripe for payments, an email provider for messages we send, and Google or Microsoft if you choose to sign in with them. If you connect your own tools, for example through the API or webhooks, the data you send there is under your control and your agreement with them.
9. Your logo and branding
If you add your own logo, colors or web address, you promise you have the right to use them. We may remove content that infringes someone else's rights.
10. Service availability and support
We work hard to keep Time@ running, but we do not promise it will always be available or error free. We may take it down briefly for maintenance. Support is by email at hello@timeat.io.
11. Ending these terms
You can stop using Time@ at any time. We can end or suspend your access if you break these terms, do not pay, or if we stop offering the service (in that case we will give you at least 30 days notice and a way to export your data). Sections that by their nature should continue after the end, such as limits of liability, will continue.
12. Limits of our responsibility
Time@ is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data, and our total responsibility to you for anything related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem happened. You are responsible for your own payroll, pay decisions and legal compliance: Time@ is a tool that helps you, and it does not replace your own review. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you in full.
13. Disputes and governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kentucky, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the courts located in Kentucky. Before filing anything, please email us so we can try to sort it out.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is important we will email the account admin at least 30 days before it applies. If you keep using Time@ after that, you accept the new terms. The date at the top shows when they were last changed.
